Welcome to Mythaq (also referred to as ميثاق / Mithaq, hereinafter referred to as the "App"), operated by jibalapps ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue downloading, installing, or using the App.

1. Eligibility & Scope of Service

The App is designed primarily for educators, teachers, school administrators, and educational professionals ("Users" or "Educators").

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register an account and use the App.
• Service Scope: Mythaq provides tools to create, organize, sync, and export educational portfolios, lesson strategy reports, semester roadmap plans (خطة الفصل الدراسي), and evaluation evidence (شواهد التنفيذ).

2. Account Registration & Authentication

• Authentication Providers: Account registration and authentication are handled via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate authentication credentials through these third-party identity providers.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, native device access, and personal cloud storage credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account.

3. Ministry of Education (MOE) Compliance & Google Drive Integration

• User Storage Responsibility: You are solely responsible for managing your Google Drive storage capacity, folder permissions, and backup integrity.
• Revocation of Access: You may revoke the App's access to your Google Drive at any time via your Google Account security settings. Please note that revoking access will disable file backup and syncing capabilities in the App.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

• User Content Ownership: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all reports, strategy texts, lesson plans, portfolios, and implementation evidence you create or upload using the App.
• App Intellectual Property: All rights, titles, and interests in and to the App (including software code, user interfaces, branding, logos, graphics, and design assets) remain the exclusive property of jibalapps.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & In-App Purchases

The App offers both a Free Tier and a Premium Tier (Mithaq PRO).

• Billing & Processing: In-app subscriptions and purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store billing systems and verified via RevenueCat. We do not store or collect credit card information.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period through your Apple ID or Google Play Account settings.
• Refund Policy: All billing and refund requests are strictly governed by the official refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

6. Referral & Rewards Program

If you participate in our referral program:

• You may earn subscription rewards or PRO access extensions by sharing your unique referral code with new users.
• We reserve the right to audit, forfeit rewards, or terminate accounts in cases of fraudulent referral activity, automated bot registrations, or program abuse.

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable national, local, or educational regulations.
• Upload illegal, defamatory, infringive, or fraudulent content.
• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with or compromise the security, infrastructure, or backend services of the App.

8. Data Deletion & Account Termination

• User-Initiated Deletion: You can delete all local data and permanently terminate your cloud database record inside the App under Settings (الإعدادات) → Data Management (إدارة البيانات).
• Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activities.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• "AS IS" Basis: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, jibalapps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from lost data, un-backed-up media, or third-party service interruptions.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
